MELISSA BAUMGARTNER - Physical Therapist/Owner

Melissa is originally from Austin, Texas and has lived in Steamboat Springs since 1996.

She received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1995.

Melissa has 19 years experience in orthopeadic rehabilitation/sports medicine. She also has experience working with women’s health issues and seniors.

She enjoys spending time with her family. Her husband Shawn teaches PE and Health, as well as coaches football, at Steamboat Springs High School. Her young daughters Naomi and Ella are full of energy and keep her very busy.

They enjoy taking advantage of all of the activities that make living in the Yampa Valley so great, including camping, free concerts, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and biking.

DAVE WEIK, DPT - Physical Therapist

David is originally from Bantam Connecticut and has bounced around for years due to military assignments and schooling. He and his wife look forward to becoming Steamboat Springs locals.

He retired from the United States Air Force in 2004 and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Minnesota in 2013.

David is married to wife Holly and has two grown-up boys Kyle and Connor.

He enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities including cross country skiing, mountain biking, bicycle touring, trail running, backpacking, and canoeing. He also loves to cook and eat.

JILL ZACHER - Office Manager

Jill grew up in Savannah, Georgia where she began working in Physical Therapy as a tech until relocating to Texas.

Jill left healthcare for several years while pursuing interior design and construction. After returning to healthcare, Jill spent seven years in home healthcare working as a patient liaison and advocate. She specialized in community education and advocating for proactive treatment of Alzheimer's and memory disorders.

Jill and her husband Matt relocated to Clark two years ago with their two sons Russell and Grayson. Russell is off in NYC pursuing his dream as Musical Theater and Dance. They enjoy backcountry skiing, hiking an camping in North Routt as often as possible. Jill is also a Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor and hopes to begin teaching again in the future.


Traci is a Colorado native and grew up in the small town of Burns. Her family owned a cattle ranch and she spent her childhood riding horses and helping out with all of the animals.

Traci attended Colorado State University, where she earned a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science, and has been working in healthcare since then. She spent a year and a half in Denver working in cardiac rehabilitation, before deciding to make the move back to the Yampa Valley closer to her family. She will be attending graduate school to study Physical Therapy at Belmont University, starting in the summer of 2016.

In her free time, Traci enjoys hiking, camping, and playing volleyball in the beautiful Colorado sunshine. She does still spend some time wrangling cows and helping out on the family ranch.

MADDIE - Greeter

Maddie is originally from Oklahoma. She was rescued from a shelter and brought to Colorado to find a new home. She has adapted wonderfully to her new family and her job as our official greeter. Her sweet and mellow disposition goes a long way in making our patients feel comfortable and relaxed. She enjoys coming to work every day and particularly loves being spoiled with dog treats.
