  • STARS - Biking the Boat Event Saturday, August 22nd

We are sponsoring this fund raising event again this year and are trying to set up a joint patient and employee team of cyclists and thought that perhaps you would like to participate?

Each person riding can choose the level road ride they would be most comfortable doing - 5, 26 or 55 miles. Check out their website for routes, registration fees, times etc. All riders start at the Gondola.

The clinic has a team called the "Center for Sports Medicine" all riding at different levels.

Melissa will reimburse each participant $20.00, which is the entry fee for the 5 mile all ability ride, once you have participated, unless you would like her to donate that money to STARS?

  • Bike the Boat charity event for STARS

The Center for Sports Medicine is one of the sponsors for the wonderful Bike the Boat charity event for STARS on Sunday, August 4th, 2013, benefiting recreational programs for people with disabilities. We have 2 teams, the Rehabers and the Rehabees, and we would love past and present patients to participate as a rider for the Rehabees team - they offer rides that are for all abilities. Melissa will re-imburse all paticipants for the 5 mile ride of $15.00 OR you can consider that part of your donation to STARS.

A huge thanks to all our riders and supporters who participated in the STARS Biking the Boat charity was a great success and lots of fun!
